For Autumn/Winter 2023, German luxury fashion house MCM launches the festive season with its latest campaign, “IT’S ME, I’M THE GIFT.” Creatively directed by Baron & Baron and shot by Sarah Blais, it explores the new visual identity of the House and brings a tongue-in-cheek twist to the holidays.
Celebrating individuality & confidence, the latest campaign nods to MCM’s identity as the ‘enfant terrible’ to traditional luxury by introducing a statement as well as an attitude. In a witty, unconventional editorial approach, “IT’S ME, I’M THE GIFT” presents models adorned with oversized bows, boxes, and wrappings, conceptualizing self-worth, self-love and self-expression as the greatest presents for the brand’s sophisticated, rebellious audience.
Iconic pieces, such as the Mode Travia, and the Beige Visetos Shopper mingle with MCM’s Spring/Summer 2024 offerings in a lifestyle presentation introducing full looks through crosscategory styling. Weekenders, drawstrings, totes, shoulder bags, crossbodies, shoppers and backpacks sit alongside chain wallets, soft accessories and footwear, presenting a mix of earth tones & pastel brights in leather as well as the brand’s iconic Visetos monogram.
Diamond Shape bags take the center stage whilst the new Lauretos monogram line is spotlighted as a sought-after signature style of the season. The brand’s Ready-to-Wear collection compliments the leather-goods and a curated selection of small accessories as well as the brand’s signature perfume, becoming gifting essentials for the holidays.
