Deconstructed, androgynous and sculptural are the best words to describe Tayama San’s soft avant-garde aesthetics. Yohji Yamamoto, a master tailor and well known for legendary avant-garde works, once asked Tayama San to find his own and unique black hues – and out-of-the-box -Tayama San rules the pavements of soft avant-garde style in blue palette this summer.
Speaking true about the spirit of ATSURO TAYAMA, exaggerated yet contemporary silhouettes are well preserved and balanced with the right volume. With volume, asymmetric hems and intricate patchworks at the heart of the brand, Tayama San further crafted the pieces, bringing textured floral motifs with a mix of fabrics and patterns – all in different shades of blue unconventionally.
Alongside textured fabrics, embroidery and jacquard are reinterpreted through Tayama San’s lens of blue – and the blossom shows off in a more flaunting way with meticulous attention to fabric combination.
