Foodie Wonderland 2.0 Returns in Full Glory
An Immersive Celebration of Seasonal Gourmet Treasures
In addition to the Discovery Tour series, the highly popular Foodie Wonderland will make a triumphant return on 6 June, transforming the city’super Times Square store into a joyful gourmet playground once again. This immersive food and wine extravaganza will present over 80 chef-crafted dishes and beverages featuring premium summer seasonal ingredients. Highlights include Japan A5 Grade Yamagata Beef Mini Shabu Shabu, Pan-fried Korean Abalone with Gamtae Butter, Melted Cheese Danish with Black Truffle Raclette, and more. A wide array of exciting free programs and activities will also be running continuously throughout the event, such as the dissection of a whole bluefin tuna, on-site carving of Yamagata Wagyu, live music performances, magical photo booth and cheerful interactions with Chef Polar, turning fine food, exquisite wines, and pure joy into unforgettable moments in life.

One of the most anticipated highlights of the 30th anniversary is the spectacular grand celebration at the city’super Times Square from 4 to 15 June — the city’super 30 Journey of Flavour! Through a series of the immersive installations and interactive experiences, themed “Crafted with Heart, Inspired by You”, the celebration invites everyone to revisit the brand’s journey and the beautiful moments. Participants will deeply feel city’super’s Aspirations, Craftsmanship, and Gratitude, while inspiring a renewed passion for quality living.
Highlight 1: city’super 30 Journey of Flavour. Step into the time tunnel
Located at the heart of the atrium, the 30 Journey of Flavour, as if a time tunnel, takes visitors on a 30-year journey through the brand’s history. From the opening of the first city’super store at Times Square in Causeway Bay in December 1996 — Hong Kong’s first Mega Lifestyle Specialty Store — to the debut of LOG-ON at Festival Walk in 1999, expansion into Taipei and Shanghai, the launch of the online shopping app, and the opening of city’super neighbourhood at THE SOUTHSIDE in Wong Chuk Hang in 2024. Each milestone showcases city’super’s continuous evolution and dedication to redefining premium retail with true craftsmanship.
The exhibition features rare archival photographs, past staff uniforms, and classic shopping bags filled with collective memories. Every shopping bag, from the earliest minimalist designs to later iconic patterns, records the deep emotion between Hong Kong people and city’super.
Highlight 2: Craftsmanship Art Exhibition
The “Craftsmanship Art Exhibition” transforms city’super’s pursuit of gastronomic excellence into visual art. Signature ingredients are presented as artistic masterpieces — including beautifully marbled Yamagata Wagyu, and the premium Japanese Shizuoka Crown Melons engraved with the 30th anniversary logo. Under professional lighting and delicate styling, everyday ingredients are elevated into visual art, perfectly embodying city’super’s 30-year commitment to turning fine produce into a true celebration of lifestyle.
Highlight 3: Giant Interactive Installations, Play Zones & Signature Wall
city’super aims to create new memories with everyone. The venue features warm and joyful interactive installations suitable for old friends and new visitors alike. The standout attraction is a towering 2.8-metre-high giant city’super shopping bag installation — perfect for memorable photo opportunities. Other highlights include a delightful cotton candy station on selected dates and times, a thrilling “3-Second Challenge” — participants must stop the timer at exactly 3.0 seconds to win an instant prize. Brand ambassador Chef Polar will also make surprise pop-up appearances in various charming guises to delight guests and distribute limited-edition balloons. At the front of the exhibition, a Self-portrait Wall invites every guest to leave doodles, messages, or signatures, sharing joy and blessings with city’super during this grand celebration.
Highlight 4: Heartfelt Greetings from Global Partners
In the main screen area and superlife culture club, a rich variety of sharing sessions, live cooking demonstrations, tasting events, and workshops will be held continuously. Highlights include cooking demonstrations by renowned Italian chef Luca Ciano and founder of HK Aquaculture Mr. Alex Lam, a cheese journey presented by Mr. Patrice Marchand to experience the french cheese from Les Frères Marchand, and an introduction to edible flowers by local farm Hydrogro. Additionally, a series of “Meet the Maker” sessions will offer guests the opportunity to hear inspiring stories from artisans and producers worldwide, including British organic brand Daylesford, French renowned chocolate Le Chocolat des Français, Japanese sake Izumibashi, RingoWork natural apple juice, century-old Japanese prawn crackers maker Keishindo, and the historic 400-year-old Fukusaya Cube Castella. These sessions showcase their deep craftsmanship and long-standing connection with city’super.
