The Madrid is a new bag with a soft trapezoid shape, crafted in a beautifully smooth and supple leather. It is named after LOEWE’s home city, where the house was founded in 1846, and where LOEWE’s leather ateliers are still based today.
The Madrid has generously pleated sides that are cinched closed with tubular straps finished with tactile shoulder padding. Its sumptuous calfskin leather, which has been specially developed, has a subtle shine and exceptionally soft hand feel, while the interior is lined in nappa leather. A sleek magnetic fastening features a jewel-like gold Pebble while an exaggerated zip gives the bag an asymmetric twist.
The bag made its debut on the Spring Summer 2025 runway at the Château de Vincennes, Paris and features in the Spring Summer 2025 campaign, photographed by David Sims and starring Canadian actress and director Taylor Russell, who clutches the bag as she wanders barefoot through the mossy, misty woodland of the Collsacabra mountains in Catalonia.
The Madrid is available from 3 April, in small, medium and large size, and in Black, Dark Burgundy, Olive or Burnt Red.
