The Tiffany & Co. Eternity collection showcases striking mixed-cut diamonds and gemstones that have been inspired by a series of vintage Tiffany & Co. advertisements from the 1960s and 1970s. As such, the Tiffany Eternity watch features design elements that celebrate Tiffany’s heritage as “The Diamond King” and are available in two case shapes: Tiffany Eternity Cushion and Tiffany Eternity Round watches.
Each dial takes at least three hours per dial to mill the diamond setting and each diamond is individually set by hand and polished.
Black Dial: Artisans mill the base of the dial and carefully apply a thin layer of black lacquer that is free of inclusions and the dial is polished for a lustrous surface.
Tiffany Blue® Dial: Creation begins by stamping a three-dimensional sunburst motif onto the dial base. After this process, artisans spend three days applying the Tiffany Blue® lacquer.
Mother-of-pearl dial: Mother-of-pearl is fragile and thus requires special care. While handcrafting the mother-of-pearl dial for the Tiffany Eternity watches, artisans mill the material down to the exact size and shape required for the dial. The mother-of-pearl undergoes additional processes to bring out its natural iridescence and beauty, which includes extensive polishing and lacquer-coating for protection.
Tiffany Eternity Round
The Tiffany Eternity Round watches, available in 28- and 32-mm iterations, are comprised of all-diamond styles, a sapphire and diamond versions. They all encompass a heart at the 12hour mark – a nod to the idea that “love is first” at Tiffany & Co. The watches feature a brushed calfskin leather strap with a satin finish.
The Tiffany Eternity Round watches with a mother-of-pearl dial launched in last year with two iterations: a 28mm version featuring sapphires in 18k white gold, as well as 28mm and 32mm versions featuring a rubellite heart in 18k rose and white gold.
Recently, the Tiffany Eternity Round watches with a black lacquer dial or Tiffany Blue® lacquer sunburst dial will launch in three iterations: 28mm and 32mm versions with a black lacquer dial in 18k rose gold, 28mm and 32mm versions with a black lacquer dial in 18k white gold, and 28mm and 32mm versions featuring a Tiffany Blue® lacquer sunburst dial in 18k white gold.
Tiffany Eternity Cushion
The new Tiffany Eternity Cushion watch features a case that’s inspired by a cushion-cut gemstone, a nod to Tiffany’s diamond legacy, is also available in 18k rose gold and white gold with a black lacquer dial or a Tiffany Blue® lacquer sunburst dial. Crafted in Switzerland over a span of 19 hours, the new Tiffany Eternity Cushion watch is a symbol of Tiffany’s horological mastery and expert workmanship. Each diamond is hand polished by artisans. A total of 48 diamonds encircle the crown, in addition to the 12 diamonds at the hour markers and the diamond crown.
