This fall, Dior celebrates the streets of the French capital, from Faubourg Saint-Honoré where Christian Dior found his lucky star to 30 Avenue Montaigne where his couture House was founded. For the first time, the House’s makeup creations are decorated with the Plan de Paris pattern, inspired by a 1950s archive silk scarf.
A line drawing with multiple details, this map of Paris viewed from above adorns the cases of this collection by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup. The season celebrates the energy of Paris by day and by night, with palettes, lipsticks, and nail polishes inspired by historic sites that link the capital and the House of Dior.
“Paris, city of dreams, city of lights! Even with the map of Paris you can get lost in the magic, the history, the untold stories of this magnificent city. Inspired by the Grande Dame herself, I created a playful collection with a focus on the eyes. Colorful, elegant, seductive, like the city itself.”Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup.
This collection with its shades of silver, gold, pink and blue is an ode to the enchanting City of Lights, which has continued to inspire the House of Dior ever since it was founded.
