Handmade in France Since 1853

AIGLE owns the only natural rubber boots manufacturing factory in France, the expert hands of 194 master bootmakers execute each stroke perfectly – One Boot, 60 Steps: Cutting the rubber pieces made from natural rubber into different components, and assembling the boot and placing them on boots molds, followed by vulcanization process, ie. heated for an hour in an autoclave at 140 °C. The bootmakers rigidly examine and test the waterproofness and adhere to the standards.

Since 1853, AIGLE has committed to advocating sustainable development by choosing to use natural materials for making rubber boots. Excess rubber produced during the boots making process is recycled and reintegrated into the gum, nothing goes to waste. Each piece of rubber boots is handmade with effort and time by our master bootmakers.
